Enjoy the Finest Indian Vegetarian Dishes Williamstown at Sangam Tandoori

Did you know that Mughal cuisine was in fact developed by the Mughal rulers of India. This was way back in the 16th to 17th century in India, which was going through its medieval age. The Mughals, as you know came from Central Asia and are in fact the Mongols themselves. The cuisine in their homeland of Central Asia was vastly different from that of India. Therefore, although they became leaders of the country, they greatly missed the food of their homeland. That is why they developed the Mughlai cuisine comprising of delicious dishes replete with dry fruits and the succulent spices of India.
Today, you can enjoy the same cuisine in Australia itself, at the Sangam tandoori restaurant. This well known restaurant can be found in Williamstown, Victoria. One of the reasons for its rising popularity is because it prepares Mughai and Tandoori food in its traditional method: on a tandoor oven. This makes the food preparations authentic, and not like the fusion food designed as Indian cuisine as found in most other restaurants. This is a sad fact in even the largest restaurants and hotels. The reason for this is that the owners feel that the people cannot handle the intense spicy taste of the Indian food. However, the owners of the Sangam Tandoori opine that Australian people can indeed handle the spicy nature of the items.

The way food is cooked is interesting. All the Indian vegetarian dishes Williamstown are cooked in a special oven called the Tandoor, from which the cuisine got its name. Items like bread and meat and slapped inside the oven are cooked within a short time due to the intense heat levels inside the oven.
